Senior Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all elements of the Compliance Management Program for designated entities or divisions along with their products and services.

• Ensure continuous adherence to relevant regulatory obligations.

• Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in pinpointing and evaluating compliance risks while advising the Company on its compliance duties.

• Supervise compliance initiatives and controls across the first and second lines of defense.

• Conduct testing and monitoring activities related to Company policies and regulatory stipulations.

• Communicate compliance issues to senior management and the Board.

• Lead and manage Compliance professionals as necessary, covering aspects such as compensation, performance evaluations, development, and training.

• Provide mentorship to junior Compliance Team Members.

• Design, implement, and manage components of the Compliance Management Program utilizing designated compliance technology.

• Collaborate with compliance leaders throughout the organization to enhance the global compliance function.

• Analyze and critically assess evaluations of the control environment, risk assessments, testing, corrective action plans, and regulatory responses.

• Develop and improve compliance routines.

• Identify and assess emerging risks and present findings using tools like data analytics.

• Influence partners across functions to achieve compliance outcomes.

• Support adherence to policy mandates and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in business changes, projects, and other matters impacting regulatory compliance.

• Translate intricate regulatory subjects into communications suitable for executives.

• Keep senior management informed of significant compliance issues.

• Participate in regulator inquiries, inspections, and examinations.

• Protect EZCORP, its clients, and their assets through compliance, policy adherence, and ethical decision-making.

• Utilize artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies to automate routine tasks and enhance quality and efficiency.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in highly regulated sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred or appropriate equivalent experience.

• Preferred industry-recognized compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM).

• Experience with compliance management programs, regulatory obligations, risk assessments, controls, testing, monitoring, corrective action plans, regulatory issues, and complaints.

• Proficiency in using compliance technology and data analytics.

• Capability to translate complex regulatory issues into executive-ready communications.

• Ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies.

• Competence in collaborating with Legal, Operations, Finance, and first-line business functions.

• Experience in engaging with regulators during inquiries, inspections, and examinations.
