Senior Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Prepare monthly notifications for suspicion and updates to the registry in the SPPLD.

• Assemble and validate XML files, check thresholds, and maintain acknowledgments.

• Conduct due diligence for clients and B2B counterparts.

• Manage and investigate alerts related to fiat and blockchain transaction monitoring.

• Escalate relevant cases as needed.

• Oversee the capture and retention of data related to the Travel Rule (Agreement 115/2026).

• Provide support in updating the PLD/FT Manual, EBR, training, and remediation plans.

• Address requirements from SAT/UIF, verification visits, and external audits.

• Analyze regulations, review documentation, and automate compliance operational tasks using generative AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in PLD/FT in Mexico, preferably within obligated subjects of Vulnerable Activities (LFPIORPI).

• Experience with virtual assets or fintech.

• Solid and up-to-date knowledge of LFPIORPI, its Regulations, and applicable General Rules, including Agreement 115/2026.

• Proven experience in preparing and submitting notifications to SAT via the SPPLD portal: monthly notifications, zero notifications, suspicious notifications, and handling XML formats.

• Proficient in database management and advanced Excel to extract, cross-reference, and validate transactional information.

• Familiarity with transaction monitoring and case management tools.

• Experience in due diligence: KYC/KYB, beneficial owners, PEPs, and list screening.

• Utilization of generative AI tools for analyzing regulations, reviewing documentation, and automating compliance operational tasks, ensuring results validation and safeguarding confidential information.
