Senior Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Manage compliance execution and quality for Lithic's CIP, KYB, and CDD/EDD programs, while also contributing to the AI-assisted workflow infrastructure that enhances scalability and defensibility.

• Primary responsibilities consist of:

• Oversee end-to-end CIP decision-making, ensuring quality and turnaround standards are met across high-volume programs.

• Conduct quality assurance on AI-assisted onboarding decisions and document reasoning in a manner that withstands scrutiny from bank partners and regulatory bodies.

• Identify gaps in processes and suggest enhancements.

• Assist with deliverables for bank partners within Lithic's sponsor bank relationships.

• Participate in AML/BSA compliance and regulatory compliance testing and oversight activities.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams when new features intersect with compliance.

• Aid in shaping Lithic's long-term compliance strategy by helping to build scalable infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of compliance experience in fintech, payments, or a bank-partnered setting, with a direct background in CIP required.

• A self-starter who can operate independently while recognizing when to escalate issues and collaborate with others.

• Proficient understanding of AI governance within a compliance framework, including how to document and justify AI-assisted decisions to bank partners.

• Direct experience utilizing KYC/KYB tools.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and a knack for creating structure where it may be lacking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing financial products (Reg E, Reg Z, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.).

• CAMS certified or currently pursuing certification.
