This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Acts as a compensation consultant to HR partners and management, providing guidance on compensation policies, programs, and issues.
• May take on a leadership role for a specific practice area or unit within the Compensation team.
• Conducts in-depth analyses of jobs, wages, salaries, and organizational structures to assess and ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance regarding the unit's compensation practices.
• Suggests and implements modifications to salary ranges, budgets, and/or policies.
• Takes into account internal and external factors along with the overall strategic plan.
• Designs and proposes variable compensation programs such as bonus plans, incentive compensation, and sales compensation to management, aligning with the needs of the business unit and/or organization.
• Ensures that the plans are competitive while remaining within budgetary constraints and the overall compensation strategy of the organization.
• Engages in the annual performance review and merit increase process.
• Creates program materials and advises unit management on the allocation of funds based on performance reviews while addressing any compensation-related concerns.
• Evaluates recommended salary adjustments for compliance with established guidelines, policies, and practices.
• Authorizes and processes adjustments within the defined approval limits.
• Oversees and/or prepares compensation reports, programs, and other initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to HR partners or management.
• Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and suggests appropriate actions.
• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in business administration, human resources, industrial relations, liberal arts, or a related field.
• Certification in Compensation is preferred.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in compensation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and business insights.
• Experience in forecasting and predictive analytics to aid in compensation planning.
• Familiarity with automation to enhance compensation processes and reporting.
• Capability to assess, evaluate, and provide data-driven recommendations regarding compensation decisions.
• Experience in compensation reporting, including outputs ready for stakeholders.
• Experience in dashboard development to track trends, effectiveness, and outcomes.
• Experience utilizing Aon and Mercer surveys for submission, benchmarking, and the development of competitive pay structures.
