This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage First Connect's online community tailored for independent agents
• Select the appropriate platform, define the operational framework, recruit initial members, and expand the community
• Create and implement an ambassador program for agents
• Enhance First Connect's visibility within independent insurance communities, including Big I, PIA, American Agents Alliance chapters, agency owner meetups, regional networking groups, LinkedIn, and Facebook groups
• Transform the current trade show schedule into a mechanism for community engagement
• Oversee the strategy and content for customer summits, roadshows, dinners, webinars, and trade-show programming; collaborate with Events on logistics and execution
• Launch community-driven content initiatives such as peer webinars, carrier and leadership AMAs, agent spotlights, and podcast partnerships
• Collaborate with Product on beta testing and early-access initiatives
• Establish and report on community health metrics, including active members, engagement, pipeline contribution, retention, and NPS
• Provide monthly insights to the leadership team
• Act as the public representative of First Connect, attending events, facilitating discussions, and writing in the voice of the role
• Work collaboratively across Marketing, Product, Sales, Carrier, Events, and leadership teams
• Over 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to building and managing a community management function
• Proven history of launching and scaling a B2B online community, member network, or professional community in a similar industry (insurtech, fintech, B2B SaaS, professional association, network, MGA, or aggregator)
• Direct experience in designing and managing an ambassador, MVP, customer advisory, or similar recognition program
• Experience in producing event content, including panels, breakouts, fireside chats, summits, and dinners
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to ghost-write for executives when necessary
• Proficiency with contemporary community technologies such as Slack, Circle, CommonRoom, and Higher Logic
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product and technology teams on platform integrations
• Data-driven approach to assessing community health and ROI
• Comfortable presenting community metrics to a leadership audience
• Willingness to travel to industry events, agent gatherings, and team offsites approximately 20-30% of the year
