Senior Communications Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete production process for paid social and digital display assets across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube, and programmatic channels—resizing, adapting, and optimizing creative to meet each platform's technical specifications.

• Create and sustain scalable, reusable templates using Figma and Adobe tools that enhance production speed within the Growth Marketing team.

• Oversee a high-volume production pipeline for multiple simultaneous campaigns, proactively communicating timelines and promptly escalating any obstacles.

• Implement A/B creative variations to facilitate performance testing, ensuring that each version is visually distinct enough to yield actionable insights.

• Work closely with campaign managers and performance marketers to convert briefs into assets ready for launch, asking pertinent questions when briefs require further clarification.

• Adjust motion graphics, animated advertisements, and short-form video edits for digital campaigns, injecting energy and precision into assets that capture attention and drive engagement.

• Assist in selecting photography for advertising campaigns by curating images from Samsara's asset library and stock sources that align with campaign goals, brand aesthetics, and audience context.

• Conduct photo retouching and compositing to prepare advertising visuals for final use—including color correction, background cleanup, and light adjustments—ensuring every visual is polished and consistent with the brand at scale.

• Uphold brand consistency at scale, accurately applying Samsara's visual identity across a large volume of assets and identifying inconsistencies before delivery.

• Advocate for operational excellence by consistently enhancing file naming conventions, folder structures, and cross-functional handoff processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in production design with a portfolio showcasing high-volume digital ad creative, including paid social, display, and motion assets.

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.

• Proven ability to produce a large volume of assets quickly and accurately, maintaining high quality standards.

• Strong understanding of ad specifications, technical requirements, and best practices across Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, and YouTube.

• Keen eye for typography, layout, color, and brand consistency across various formats.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while proactively communicating about deadlines and dependencies.
