Senior Commercial & Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of commercial analytics for the GTM organization, including pricing models, deal economics, revenue forecasting, and business case development that directly influence leadership decisions.

• Utilize AI tools and automation to expedite analysis workflows—from data extraction and pattern recognition to scenario modeling—while continually identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the commercial analytics function.

• Develop and maintain pricing frameworks across Magicline, PerfectGym, MySports, and Finion, which encompasses tier restructuring, competitive benchmarking, willingness-to-pay analysis, and scenario modeling.

• Identify and quantify revenue levers, including areas of underpricing, discounting that impacts margin, and opportunities for packaging changes or cross-sell strategies to drive growth.

• Create standalone business cases for new commercial initiatives, market expansion, and adjustments to pricing.

• Collaborate with Sales on deal structuring, segment profitability, and win/loss analysis; with Marketing on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), campaign ROI, and channel economics; and with Product on packaging and monetization strategies.

• Transform complex commercial analyses into clear, actionable proposals for senior management, crafting narratives that link data to strategic decisions regarding pricing, packaging, and revenue growth.

• Develop repeatable analytical frameworks, templates, and AI-assisted models, ensuring the GTM team has resources readily available for pricing or sizing inquiries.

• Navigate a complex data environment by extracting information from multiple tools and sources, creating your own views, and delivering insights without waiting for an ideal dashboard.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in commercial analytics, pricing strategy, revenue operations, or management consulting with a strong emphasis on analytics.

• Demonstrated ability to construct financial models and business cases from scratch.

• Experience in pricing and packaging tasks, including scenario modeling, elasticity analysis, competitive benchmarking, and margin assessment.

• Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, AI-powered analytics platforms) to enhance research, data analysis, or business case development—you don't just understand AI; you actively integrate it into your workflow.

• Comfortable with presenting to senior leadership; capable of creating a polished presentation and guiding an audience through your analysis, with your primary strength lying in the numbers.

• Skilled in modern analytical tools—spreadsheets, SQL, BI platforms, and AI-powered tools—able to extract, clean, and synthesize data from various imperfect sources to derive insights.

• Background in SaaS, subscription, marketplace, or payments industries, with a natural understanding of metrics such as ARPU, churn, expansion revenue, and LTV dynamics.

• Fluent in English (C1+).

• Ability to manage multiple commercial workstreams simultaneously while maintaining quality and depth.
