Senior Commercial Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the legal framework for the Commercial (Projects & Supply Chain) division, encompassing preferred structures, strategies, and template agreements.

• Oversee the structuring, financing, and execution of commercial projects, which include SPV documents, loan agreements, security packages, IP licensing agreements, and EPC contracts.

• Manage the legal aspects of global procurement, including master services agreements, purchase orders, and warehousing contracts.

• Collaborate with the sales team to secure new projects, which involves drafting responses to RFPs.

• Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

• Supervise outside counsel as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Biglaw and/or in-house legal roles.

• Extensive knowledge in project financing and the execution of complex infrastructure initiatives.

• Experience with commercial procurement for intricate infrastructure projects.

• A strong motivation to independently contribute to the development of the commercial division within the Legal department.

• A willingness to take on substantive legal work to minimize reliance on outside counsel.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.

• Active legal license and in good standing to practice law in the United States.
