Senior Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a substantial portfolio of claims that vary from minor to moderate complexity.

• Respond to incoming calls, initiate claims, and gather loss information from all relevant parties.

• Examine, assess, negotiate, and resolve auto and property damage claims related to commercial rideshare and the commercial GIG economy.

• Clarify policy details, coverage, and the appropriate steps to take.

• Organize and disburse payments for repairs, rentals, towing, total losses, and negotiate storage costs.

• Maintain documentation of claim files, send communications, and liaise with all parties involved.

• Utilize a diary system to review and resolve claims in accordance with state compliance regulations, policy terms, and standard operating procedures.

• Complete a paid virtual training program that combines classroom learning with on-the-job training.

• Handle claims primarily in alignment with the Pacific Time Zone.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years of customer service experience in a virtual setting utilizing internet, phone, and chat capabilities.

• 1-2+ years of experience in auto or commercial adjusting/liability is required.

• Must possess an Adjuster license for all relevant states or obtain the necessary licenses within 90 days of accepting the position as a condition of employment.

• Ability to manage claims primarily aligned with the Pacific Time Zone.

• Availability to work 40 hours a week during operational hours.

• Willingness to work any shift, 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific Time.

• Capability to complete training and execute job responsibilities in a remote environment.

• Proficient computer navigation skills.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Skill in multitasking effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• No visa sponsorship available; must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US.

• Ability to work without current or future immigration assistance.

• Preferred: 3+ years of previous claims adjusting experience.

• Preferred: Training in auto physical damage and/or enrollment in I-CAR or SCLA.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
