Senior Commercial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with sales, legal, engineering, operations, and finance teams to deliver commercial insights, assist in strategic decision-making, and serve as a reliable commercial advisor.

• Oversee the deals desk along with pricing strategy and operations, fostering profitable solutions through deal structures, pricing, product, and commercial terms, ensuring they align with company strategies and revenue goals.

• Direct the commercial support and assessment of new products and commercial initiatives, partnering with all departments to ensure that pricing, compensation, commercial terms, and financial operations are in accordance with company strategies.

• Aid in the design, analysis, and management of commission structures, ensuring they align with company strategies and revenue objectives.

• Generate regular financial reports, such as performance reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to promote commercial success. Create dashboards and enhanced KPI metrics to evaluate and support the ongoing success of commercial strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred).

• Over 5 years of experience in a commercial finance or financial planning & analysis (FP&A) role, preferably within a global organization.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to convey complex commercial concepts to non-commercial stakeholders.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong enthusiasm for addressing intricate commercial challenges.

• Highly organized and self-driven, capable of working independently while remaining connected to a global remote team.

• Experience collaborating with sales, product, engineering, and legal departments will be highly valued.

• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in financial modeling, Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Salesforce).
