Senior Coding Associate – Customer Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess customer preparedness and facilitate the successful implementation of the athenaOne Medical Coding Service.

• Review provider documentation and audits to identify areas for improvement.

• Examine customer configurations and practice details to identify gaps.

• Drive ongoing process enhancements to improve efficiency and outcomes.

• Develop solutions that prioritize automation over manual processes.

• Achieve mastery in workflow design and analysis utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Spot opportunities to deliver additional value to clients.

• Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Craft presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Offer support and mentorship to new employees and colleagues within Service Integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent level of professional experience).

• CPC and/or CCS certification from AAPC or AHIMA is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Medical Coding.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Direct communication experience with customers and/or medical providers is essential.

• Ability to independently manage projects is demonstrated.

• Preferred experience in implementing computer-assisted coding and/or coding automation tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Agile development methodologies is preferred.

• SQL experience is preferred.
