Senior Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance specific areas of the cloud security landscape across AWS and GCP.

• Integrate security practices within CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform.

• Propel security automation across various environments to minimize manual processes and operational risks.

• Serve as a security advocate, motivating engineers to embrace secure-by-default methodologies.

• Collaborate with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to enhance security remediation and incident management.

• Assist in incident response efforts, implement post-incident enhancements, and ensure operational readiness.

• Contribute to the development of security tools, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in Cloud Security, particularly with AWS (experience with GCP is advantageous or a willingness to learn is required).

• Strong foundation in DevSecOps and the integration of security within engineering workflows.

• Proficient in using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Experience working within Linux/Unix environments.

• Scripting expertise in Go and/or Python.

• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Capacity to think holistically and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Proficient in English (as you will engage with global stakeholders).

• Willingness to travel to São Carlos/SP as necessary.
