Senior Cloud Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You integrate your cloud security expertise with consulting, manage projects independently, present risks and outcomes tailored to the audience, and actively cultivate client relationships and additional security requirements.

• Perform cloud security evaluations and architecture assessments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Design and deploy Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM/CNAPP)

• Create and execute Identity & Access Management (IAM) strategies, incorporating Zero Trust principles in cloud settings

• Conduct security evaluations and strengthen container and Kubernetes environments

• Review and secure Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Provide guidance on secure multi-cloud architecture and cloud migration strategies

• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps): SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning, and policy-as-code

• Establish and enhance DevSecOps processes alongside development and platform teams

• Develop security frameworks, risk assessments, and technical documentation

• Assist with cloud-related security incidents and forensic investigations

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in cloud security or cloud engineering with a security emphasis

• Extensive knowledge of at least two of the three leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) — with a preference for Azure

• Proven experience with IAM architectures, Conditional Access, Entra ID (Azure AD), and federation

• Strong understanding of container security (Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh)

• Familiarity with CSPM tools (Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, Wiz, or similar)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning (tfsec, Checkov, KICS)

• Experience with DevSecOps toolchains and their integration into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Relevant certifications are preferred: CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, CCSK, CKS

• Proficient in business-level German and English
