This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver dedicated, customer-focused support for 11:11 Systems’ cloud network systems, encompassing configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and complex escalations.
• Take ownership and accountability for designated responsibilities related to cloud network systems.
• Direct network troubleshooting during incidents and resolve issues within SLA commitments.
• Engage in an on-call rotation.
• Record activities in the company ticketing system and maintain knowledge-base documentation.
• Create and sustain custom reporting, technical build, and support documentation, including diagrams and Customer Design Requirements (CDRs).
• Contribute to detailed Service Incident Reports (SIRs), including root-cause analysis and preventative strategies.
• Plan and implement changes for incidents, customer requests, lifecycle management, implementation, and decommissioning projects, often outside standard business hours.
• Triage incident, change, and request tickets for Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery clients.
• Oversee switches, firewalls, load balancers, IPSEC VPNs, and WAN networking configurations.
• Implement and manage network security hardware and software while enforcing network security policies.
• Provide additional capacity for Cloud Services deployment engineering tasks.
• Assist the Network Solution Architect team with customer network designs.
• Remain up-to-date with Cisco, F5, and VMware technologies, pursuing advanced certifications.
• Adhere to service-management best practices along with company policies, ethics, values, data-handling, privacy, and compliance procedures.
• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent field experience.
• Over 10 years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on Cisco-based network engineer.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certified with documented professional experience.
• Experience in working with global data center environments.
• Strong experience in supporting and implementing virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking, specifically VMware NSX.
• Expert-level proficiency with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA/ASR, and F5 LTM, APM, ASM hardware platforms.
• Outstanding troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale, highly available, mission-critical network infrastructures.
• Expert-level understanding of internet routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Familiarity with Citrix, Fortigate, Netscaler, SonicWall, and Juniper equipment.
• Professional experience in a consulting or other enterprise customer-facing technical support role.
• Senior-level expertise in designing networks and architecting network topologies for diverse settings.
• Capability to pursue positive results for assigned tasks independently.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
