This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the logical and physical network across all Keystone business sites, utilizing the Meter platform as the standard.
• Act as the technical authority for network architecture, encompassing routing, switching, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
• Manage the Meter platform comprehensively, which includes configuring the controller/dashboard, overseeing firmware and lifecycle management, as well as developing network templates and adoption strategies.
• Promote the adoption and standardization of the Meter platform across all locations while managing the relationship with the Meter vendor.
• Define and uphold standards for routing, switching, and wireless architecture.
• Design and oversee complex configurations for VLAN segmentation, QoS, NAT, and VPN.
• Handle lifecycle management and configurations for firewalls, switches, access points, and onsite network/server infrastructure.
• Manage network rooms, establish structured cabling standards, and oversee rack layouts and equipment placement.
• Collaborate with ISPs and third-party vendors for circuit installations, cutovers, upgrades, and the resolution of outages.
• Ensure secure connectivity among locations, data centers, and Azure environments.
• Provide support for door access systems, cameras, alarms, and related facility-security integrations in collaboration with Facilities and Security.
• Set site-readiness standards, create baseline checklists, runbooks, documentation, monitoring, alerting, and performance baselines.
• Lead site onboarding/offboarding processes and M&A cutovers.
• Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point for complex network and infrastructure challenges.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be accepted.
• Over 5 years of network engineering experience with a solid foundation in protocols.
• Practical experience supporting multi-site physical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and standardizing cloud-managed network platforms, as well as managing physical network/server deployments and structured cabling across multiple locations.
• Networking certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIP/JNCIA, Network+, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, static routing, 802.1Q VLANs, spanning tree, DHCP, and DNS.
• Significant experience in designing and troubleshooting VLAN segmentation, QoS, NAT, and both site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, switches, wireless access points, structured cabling, and standards for network rooms/racks.
• Familiarity with cloud-managed networking / NaaS platforms such as Meter, Meraki, or similar.
• Experience in coordinating with ISPs and vendors for circuit installations and cutovers, as well as troubleshooting end-to-end connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of physical security systems, including door access, cameras, alarms, and facility technology interfaces.
• Strong fundamentals in firewall management, secure connectivity, and network security, suitable for a regulated environment.
• Excellent skills in documentation and change-control procedures.
• Regular travel may be required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, as allowed by law.
