Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive customer support with a focus on SDWAN, ideally using Versa Networks, along with Internet and related services.

• Diagnose and set up basic LAN configurations, routers, firewalls, and Microsoft operating systems.

• Assist in the provisioning and onboarding process for new managed-services clients.

• Work in collaboration with vendors to address support issues and ensure seamless service delivery.

• Take ownership of support issues from resolution to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.

• Foster excellent customer relationships by providing exceptional support and problem-solving.

• Mentor and guide fellow engineers on intricate technical challenges and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• 3-5 years of pertinent experience in a dynamic technical setting.

• Proven proficiency in SDWAN, especially with Versa Networks.

• CCNA and CCNP certifications are highly preferred.

• Experience with command line networking tools (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).

• Strong background in firewall configuration (e.g., Fortinet).

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP.

• Practical understanding of basic routers, firewalls, and NAT (Network Address Translation).

• Familiarity with COS/QOS and principles of network design.

• Awareness of SOC 2 compliance and related processes.
