Senior Cloud Governance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain network and identity solutions within a public cloud environment (AWS).

• Lead the advancement of Redfin’s cloud governance strategy.

• Architect and establish governance frameworks while managing technical uncertainties and risks.

• Collaborate with Infosec and Platform teams to incorporate security and governance into the deployment lifecycle.

• Define and monitor key engineering metrics related to cloud expenditure, security posture, and resource utilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud platform management, ideally within AWS.

• More than 3 years of experience in creating, managing, and scaling a multi-account or multi-project cloud environment.

• Strong enthusiasm for Infrastructure as Code and expertise in tools such as Terraform, Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, Atlantis, or CloudFormation.

• At least 3 years of experience with various scripting languages.
