This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage intricate application infrastructure components such as Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Amazon SES, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and reliability across AWS and Azure environments.
• Design, construct, and sustain reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes, ensuring that all new and existing application components are thoroughly documented and repeatable.
• Create and update operational runbooks, monitoring frameworks, and process flows for common infrastructure challenges, facilitating swift responses and clear transitions across teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify infrastructure requirements, converting them into scalable, production-ready solutions that meet platform standards.
• Integrate AI learning tools into cloud infrastructure workflows, which include assessing LLM-based automation, AI-assisted observability, and developer tools that expedite platform engineering throughout the organization.
• Promote high availability and reliability standards across managed services, participating in incident reviews and executing preventive enhancements.
• Over 8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering with an emphasis on application-layer infrastructure.
• Proven practical experience with AWS and Azure, including the deployment and management of Kubernetes workloads, microservices architecture, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Proficient in messaging and eventing systems such as Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Amazon SES within production settings.
• Demonstrated capability in building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm, encompassing module development, versioning, and documentation — with familiarity in AI-assisted infrastructure tools and a security-first mindset that includes policy-as-code, secrets management, and least-privilege access controls.
• Strong skill set in creating and maintaining operational documentation, including runbooks, monitoring frameworks, and process flows for complex infrastructure systems.
• Experience working with FedRamp authorized systems is a plus.
