Senior Platform Engineer, Productivity, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance and advance the developer experience by refining processes, boosting productivity, ensuring security, and improving quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Take ownership of, maintain, and continually enhance the CI/CD pipeline to optimize software delivery.

• Construct and oversee infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure to guarantee performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Address and resolve support requests and production issues related to the application platform and cloud infrastructure.

• Identify, analyze, and proactively resolve bottlenecks in engineering productivity, working collaboratively with teams to understand their challenges and enhance workflows.

• Create and provide self-service tools and automation scripts to empower engineers to work autonomously and efficiently.

• Collaborate with the Security team to implement best practices and address vulnerability issues and security incidents.

• Work effectively with other functional teams and support their initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, accompanied by 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and software development.

• Expertise in Linux operations and Shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation and system management.

• Practical experience with CI/CD build systems (e.g., Docker, AWS EKS, Bitbucket Pipelines, Git, or similar tools).

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM for managing cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with cloud networking and traffic management, including load balancing (e.g., ALB, NLB), VPC networking, and DNS (e.g., Route 53).

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development.

• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB).

• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate across teams.
