Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing languages such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, Bash, and YAML.

• Deliver high-quality implementations within set timelines.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines that support secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments.

• Update technical documentation, workflows, and knowledge base articles as needed.

• Build expertise in specific areas of the OneStream platform and deployment stack.

• Engage in collaborative engineering efforts, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Work with other teams to define, estimate, and implement requirements for new automations or services necessary for development.

• Implement software engineering best practices in infrastructure and automation development.

• Optimize cloud environments for improved scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues across various cloud platforms and services.

• Collaborate with Compliance and Security teams to ensure adherence to required controls.


⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or a technology-related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Over 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure.

• Advanced understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code concepts and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation templates, Bicep or ARM templates) on platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• In-depth knowledge of Configuration Management/Orchestration tools such as Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Chef, and Puppet.

• Advanced grasp of cloud concepts, including elasticity, security, and identity management.

• Well-versed in Agile Development methodologies, utilizing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps Boards.

• Strong understanding of Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) with skills in container-based deployment, or experience with platforms such as OpenShift, GKS, EKS.

• Proficient in Software Development Lifecycles.

• Familiarity with AI-focused Azure resources like API Management, Azure OpenAI, or Cognitive Services.

• Experience working with software development teams on large-scale AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLM) and Predictive AI, utilizing Azure cloud resources.

• More than 8 years of hands-on experience with technologies, tools, and concepts such as automating processes using PowerShell, Bash, CLI, REST APIs, Python, ARM Templates, or other scripting languages.

• Comfortable using source control tools like Git, BitBucket, or GitHub.

• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, GKS, or Helm.

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure.

• Familiar with Microsoft Windows 11, Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Entra ID.
