Senior Cloud Consultant – Proxmox, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent project management: You will be responsible for the autonomous execution and leadership of cloud projects.

• Kubernetes clusters: Establishing and managing Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.

• CI/CD pipelines: Designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.

• Terraform templates: Creating and managing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform.

• Cloud architectures: Designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud architectures in Proxmox and Rancher, as well as potentially in AWS/Azure.

• Security and compliance management: Ensuring that all cloud solutions meet the highest security and compliance standards.

• Troubleshooting and optimization: Proactively troubleshooting and optimizing existing cloud infrastructures, as well as handling service tickets in cloud operations (no night or emergency shifts).

• Mentoring: You may, in the future, guide a junior consultant, coordinating and educating them on new topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in cloud consulting with a focus on Proxmox + Kubernetes (ideally at the enterprise level).

• Solid Linux knowledge.

• In-depth expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and other cloud technologies and tools.

• Nice to have: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Rancher.

• Enjoyment of mentoring a motivated junior cloud consultant and sharing knowledge.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliability.

• Fluent in German (C2) and English (C1).
