Senior Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the completion of home equity investment transactions, ensuring all required documents are accurately prepared.

• Act as a primary contact for homeowners during the closing process, offering updates and addressing any questions or concerns.

• Engage proactively with production teammates, escrow agents, and title agents throughout the investment closing phase.

• Collaborate with settlement agents to prepare final Closing Disclosures, ensuring all fees are included and tolerances for each section are satisfied.

• Coordinate with title companies to schedule notary appointments.

• Prepare a funding file by reviewing completed documents for thoroughness.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the closing process.

• Review the team’s funding documents, set up wire transfers, and liaise with the title company to ensure prompt and accurate disbursements.

• Provide support for team members who are out of the office.

• Step in to assist the team in the absence of the Closing Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of operations experience in Financial Services, Real Estate, or Mortgage.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Capability to navigate complex closing scenarios through effective problem-solving and decision-making.

• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to homeowners and enhancing their satisfaction throughout the closing process.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to ensure thorough documentation and process compliance.

• Strong communication skills, including active listening, understanding homeowner needs, and responding with empathy.

• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, third-party vendors, and homeowners.

• Preferred in-depth knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements and compliance standards (TRID, TILA, RESPA, REG Z).

• Availability to work from 8am to 5pm PST.
