This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, construct, and finalize budgets for clinical trials sponsored by industry, covering both oncology and non-oncology studies.
• Conduct comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCA) to accurately differentiate between routine care and research-related expenses.
• Set up and manage study calendars, budgets, and billing grids within the OnCore system.
• Facilitate the initiation of clinical trials by ensuring the correct setup of budgets, billing designations, and preparedness for subsequent processes.
• Lead or assist in budget negotiations with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
• Collaborate closely with investigators, study coordinators, finance, and revenue cycle teams to validate financial assumptions.
• Carry out continuous budget tracking, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to billing compliance.
• Support activities aimed at audit readiness.
• Standardize and enhance workflows for budgeting and coverage analysis.
• Act as a subject matter expert in clinical trial budgeting, billing compliance, and the functionality of OnCore.
• Provide direct support across various client engagements.
• A Bachelor's degree is essential, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5+ years of practical experience in clinical trial budgeting within Academic Medical Centers or healthcare systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Coverage Analysis and compliance in clinical trial billing.
• Experience with OnCore for calendar setup, budgeting, and billing grid configuration is required.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating budgets with sponsors and CROs.
• Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple studies and deadlines in a dynamic, client-facing setting.
• Willingness to travel domestically (up to 10%).
