This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver expert engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for intricate field inquiries regarding electrophysiology products.
• Serve as a senior clinical liaison between the medical community and Abbott’s EP division.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy business relationships with customers while sharing product knowledge.
• Recognize and communicate customer requirements, product performance data, and sales prospects to sales representatives, directors, and management.
• Offer engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for complex field inquiries.
• Design, lead, and conduct EP product training programs for healthcare professionals.
• Provide insights and feedback to management regarding market trends and next-generation product elements.
• Ensure regional EP procedural case coverage.
• Assist EP Sales Representatives with sales support, regional training, clinical studies, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training.
• Guide and mentor less experienced Clinical Specialists.
• Collaborate with Training and Education departments on advanced seminars and educational resources.
• Support Sales with advanced product demonstrations.
• Stay updated on clinical, regulatory, company, competitor, market, and industry developments.
• Address problems and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.
• Track performance and report updates to the manager.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a prior role.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, either internal or external.
• Previous industry or competitive experience if coming from an external background.
• Fully dedicated to electrophysiology support.
• IBHRE EP certification is necessary.
• Recognized as a top performer among colleagues.
• Capability to manage complex EP cases independently.
• Proficient in mentoring and training EP CS and CA CS roles on intricate mapping cases.
• Able to independently conduct complex customer education events to effectively communicate the full EP portfolio value proposition.
• Verification of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
