Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and take ownership of the progress of clinical trials at investigative sites.

• Ensure that clinical studies are executed, documented, and reported in alignment with protocols, SOPs, ICH-GCP, relevant regulations, and standards.

• Coordinate the necessary activities for study setup and monitoring.

• Identify and recruit investigators.

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

• Manage clinical trials of appropriate size.

• Provide support to clinical study teams on larger-scale trials.

• Train and guide junior staff members.

• Engage directly with clients.

• Initiate payment processes.

• Take part in proposal activities, including development and client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Must possess a CRA certification.

• A minimum of 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device setting.

• Experience monitoring clinical trials across various therapeutic areas is essential.

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, with an approximate travel commitment of 50–60%.

• Some senior-level positions may require international travel.

• Proficiency in English and the local language is mandatory.

• Additional language(s) will be considered an asset.

• A graduate or postgraduate degree focusing on a scientific or healthcare discipline is preferred.

• Experience with study start-up activities is preferred.

• A solid understanding of financial management is preferred for Senior CRAs.
