This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania, +5 more countries.
• Offer strategic leadership and management for various projects or a portfolio of projects, ensuring they align with the company's goals and client expectations.
• Organize and synchronize cross-functional teams, including external vendors, to achieve milestones and maintain compliance.
• Supervise project budgets, including tracking, forecasting, managing out-of-scope items, and preparing and negotiating change orders.
• Create and evaluate project plans that encompass project management, communication, monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide, mentor, and develop project managers and their teams.
• Act as the main escalation point and senior contact for sponsors, delivering strategic updates on projects and portfolios.
• Recognize quality and performance issues at the portfolio level, implement corrective and preventive action plans, and drive ongoing process enhancements.
• Direct proposal development for new projects, covering scoping, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Propel business development initiatives, including preparing for and participating in bid defenses.
• Assist line management, performance management, coaching, and the development of direct reports.
• Contribute to the department's strategy, process development, and cross-functional initiatives.
• A Master's degree or higher in a Life Science field is preferred.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Over 8 years of experience in Clinical Research (Healthcare, Sponsor organization, or CRO), with significant experience overseeing multiple projects.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership experience, including managing project managers.
• Line management experience is essential.
• Experience in early-phase clinical trials and the oncology field is advantageous.
• Strong skills in reporting, time management, budget oversight, and risk management.
• Proven experience in business development, including proposal preparation and participating in bid defenses.
• Familiarity with standard business and eClinical systems (CTMS, EDC, IXRS, eTMF, and project planning tools).
