This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more state.
• Engage in bid defense preparations and lead bid defense presentations alongside Business Development for studies that involve multiple services, countries, and regions.
• Create comprehensive study management plans in collaboration with the core project team.
• Direct the strategic planning and execution of clinical studies in alignment with contracts, SOPs, policies, and procedures, while enhancing speed, quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Establish objectives for the core project team, communicate expectations, and evaluate performance.
• Work together with internal functional groups to meet milestones and address study-related issues and challenges.
• Track progress against contracts and proactively prepare and deliver project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage medium to large-sized, full-service, multi-regional studies.
• Actively manage risks, contingencies, issues, and solutions.
• Recognize quality risks and problems, implementing corrective and preventive action plans accordingly.
• Function as the primary project contact, nurturing relationships with key customer contacts.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams, facilitating collaboration and overall project delivery.
• Ensure financial success of the project, forecast opportunities to expedite activities, and advance revenue timelines.
• Identify changes in scope and oversee the change-control process.
• Share lessons learned and best practices to foster continuous improvement.
• Support corporate initiatives and serve as a change advocate.
• Provide insights on project team members' performance and assist in their development.
• Mentor less experienced project team members.
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in clinical research, including at least 4 years in project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient command of the English language.
• Strong negotiation and customer management abilities.
• Experience in supporting oncology trials is highly valued.
• Capability to lead others and achieve results according to quality and timeline metrics.
• Proven experience in monitoring and managing performance while providing constructive feedback.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and engaging with customers.
• Good understanding of project financials, including contractual obligations and their implications.
