Head of Clinical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand Medsien's Clinical Operations division and Care Partner initiatives.

• Supervise and nurture Operations Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and consistent performance across teams.

• Develop scalable operational processes, staffing frameworks, workflows, and management systems.

• Take ownership of critical operational metrics related to quality, productivity, capacity, staffing, and overall performance.

• Enhance clinical quality and ensure operational consistency as the organization evolves.

• Collaborate with Product and other departments to streamline workflows, implement automation, and operationalize new initiatives.

• Establish the leadership framework and operational infrastructure necessary to support Medsien's ongoing growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical operations, or care delivery.

• Proven senior leadership experience in managing managers and overseeing large healthcare operations teams.

• Demonstrated ability to build and scale healthcare operations, teams, and processes effectively.

• Strong history of achieving operational performance goals, including productivity, quality, staffing, capacity, and performance management.

• Experience in developing strong managers and creating accountable, high-achieving teams.

• Excellent analytical, strategic, and executive communication skills.

• Capacity to operate at both the executive/strategic level while remaining engaged with daily operations.

• Must reside in the US.

• Experience at the VP, Head, or Senior Director level in healthcare operations is preferred (nice-to-have).

• Background in health tech, digital health, healthcare services, medical groups, MSOs, or health systems is a plus (nice-to-have).

• Experience in managing large distributed or remote care teams is advantageous (nice-to-have).

• Familiarity with care management, population health, chronic care, virtual care, or remote care is beneficial (nice-to-have).

• Proficiency in leveraging technology, automation, and data to scale healthcare operations is a plus (nice-to-have).
