This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Organize committee meetings and coordinate physician/member calls
• Oversee program calendars and fulfill associated tasks
• Collaborate with physician members, healthcare professionals, partner societies, committee leaders, and staff
• Set priorities and delegate committee responsibilities
• Initiate, arrange, and oversee program procedures and interdepartmental communications
• Maintain records for committee management, member profiles, and contact details
• Assist in the recruitment of representatives from medical specialty societies
• Review and modify documents to meet program, process, methodological, technical, grammatical, style, and formatting standards
• Generate drafts and templates for documents
• Compile and harmonize document versions for committee evaluation
• Aid in publications, educational initiatives, and websites related to guideline distribution
• Monitor action items from calls and meetings
• Provide support or staffing for ACR committees and commissions
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Over 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an association environment
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and comparable office software systems is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent active listening and typing skills
• Capability to work independently
• Ability to navigate ambiguity
• Highly organized and adept at managing multiple competing priorities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience in document editing
• Competence in data extraction for supporting literature
• Background in coordinating and organizing meetings
• Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat for the formatting and editing of documents through drafting, revision, and approval
• Ability to take notes and execute action items with minimal supervision
• Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and GCP
• Must adhere to East Coast working hours (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
• Self-driven, highly organized, and possessing excellent time management skills while working remotely
