This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Organize committee meetings and conference calls involving physician members and other healthcare professionals.
• Oversee program calendars and fulfill associated responsibilities.
• Set priorities and delegate committee assignments alongside committee chairs.
• Initiate, coordinate, and oversee program workflows and interdepartmental communication.
• Keep records of committee management, member profiles, and contact details.
• Assist in the recruitment of representatives with medical specialty society staff.
• Review and revise documents to ensure they meet program, process, and methodological criteria.
• Develop drafts and templates for documentation.
• Gather and unify document versions for committee assessment.
• Aid in publications, educational initiatives, and websites that facilitate guideline dissemination.
• Monitor the completion of action items from meetings and calls.
• Provide staffing or support for ACR committees and commissions.
• Offer administrative assistance in the development of clinical practice guidelines.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an association environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other similar office software is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with active listening and proficient typing abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in document editing.
• Skill in data extraction for supporting literature.
• Background in coordinating and organizing meetings.
• Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat for document formatting and editing.
• Ability to take notes and complete action items with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and GCP.
• Willingness to work East Coast hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must have a reliable internet connection.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and adept at time management while working remotely.
