This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.
• Oversee the creation and enhancement of clinical data systems for global trials.
• Propel enterprise-wide data standardization and mapping projects.
• Develop and implement scalable validation frameworks to identify and rectify systemic data issues.
• Design and sustain modular SAS codebases while establishing coding standards.
• Guide junior engineers in automation, reproducibility, and performance enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and international regulatory standards.
• Define documentation protocols and manage audit trail governance.
• Create dynamic dashboards and analytical tools for data quality, trial progress, and operational KPIs.
• Convert intricate datasets into actionable insights for clinical and regulatory stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Transform clinical and scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and refine secure, high-performance relational databases and data lakes.
• Develop and sustain ETL pipelines that integrate data from various clinical systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (life sciences, statistics, data management, clinical operations) or a relevant/equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in clinical monitoring, clinical trial management, or a similar role.
• Proficient programming and automation skills.
• Experience in database design.
• Experience in dashboard development.
• Knowledge of CDISC governance.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Skill in extracting relevant information from protocols, electronic study data systems, and clinical systems.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
• Experience with integrated risk planning and management.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices in clinical research.
• Preferred: Experience as a Clinical Data Engineer or Programmer in a CRO setting.
• Preferred: Experience with automation and AI Agent Deployment in regulated environments.
