Senior Client Services Associate – CLO/ABL Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accurately model CLO and ABL transactions within Vantage, Valitana’s OMS & PMS, ensuring proper representation of deal structures, waterfalls, and tranches.

• Conduct indenture analysis and convert deal documentation into configurations and compliance frameworks for the platform.

• Set up and maintain compliance testing for managed deals and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).

• Provide exceptional white-glove support to institutional clients, including CLO managers, CLO investors, hedge funds, and asset managers.

• Create customized metrics, workflows, and Excel models utilizing the Valitana plugin for seamless data integration and calculations.

• Support clients with the onboarding process, data uploads, and ongoing platform utilization to enhance adoption and value realization.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for less experienced team members.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing regarding CLO structures and best practices in modeling.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in structured finance, CLO modeling, fixed income, or financial operations, with hands-on experience in modeling CLO and/or ABL transactions.

• Capacity to read and interpret indentures and convert deal terms into modeling and compliance frameworks.

• Deep understanding of CLO mechanics, including waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limits, and reinvestment criteria.

• Familiarity with ABL structures is essential.

• Previous client-facing experience in consulting, client services, or relationship management is required.

• Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex structured finance concepts to clients.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is necessary.

• Management or mentorship experience is highly valued.

• Preferred AI literacy, with the ability to use AI tools to enhance research, analysis, or client deliverables.

• Must have the existing right to work in the United Kingdom without requiring visa sponsorship.
