This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.
• Retain and expand revenue for the designated portfolio of clients
• Surpass client expectations regarding service excellence
• Motivate others to achieve results for clients
• Stay informed about market trends
• Position Luminare Health programs and solutions to decision-makers at client organizations
• Provide high-level consultative and strategic oversight for both new and existing complex accounts
• Achieve retention, service, and revenue objectives
• Build and nurture relationships with clients and brokers
• Spot sales opportunities
• Manage accounts to enhance business growth and meet corporate and divisional sales and renewal goals
• Support and manage 5–7 complex client groups alongside client coordinators
• Maintain senior management-level interactions with key client stakeholders and brokers
• Potentially act as a Coach/Mentor
• Evaluate and mentor team members to maximize team success and development
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of prior experience in Client Management and/or a similar TPA or health insurance environment with client-facing/client support roles OR a High School diploma and 11 years of experience in the health insurance industry
• Knowledge of self-funding and employee benefit plans
• Understanding of stop loss is an advantage
• Familiarity with benefit-related federal laws, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is required
• Results-driven and self-motivated
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Capability to engage with senior-level executives
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient analytical, problem-solving, reading, creative decision-making, comprehension, mathematical, and time management skills
• Ability to evaluate and mentor team members
• Experience with tribal organizations is highly preferred
• State insurance license required or to be obtained within 90 days from the date of hire
• Remote employees must reside within the continental United States, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii, and New York
