This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Foster and nurture robust client relationships.
• Independently manage a specific portfolio of middle- to large-market complex clients.
• Meet regularly with producers to provide updates, advice, and relevant information.
• Evaluate exposures and formulate strategies for renewal or new-business marketing.
• Oversee marketing processes, negotiate rates, and assess quotes and coverage options.
• Seek additional or expanded lines of coverage for current clients.
• Review and summarize marketing outcomes, draft proposals, and secure coverage with carriers.
• Engage in or assist with client presentations.
• Address client inquiries and underwriting questions.
• Conduct contract reviews for insurance requirements and counsel clients on their coverage needs.
• Issue proofs of insurance.
• Create insurance summaries for renewals or mid-term evaluations.
• Participate in client claims reviews and follow up on claims and coverage issues.
• Manage expiration lists and renewals, ensuring accountability for retention.
• Oversee invoicing, corrections, accounting inquiries, and follow-up on receivables.
• Underwrite and market accounts to deliver competitive insurance solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and state and governmental regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and industry events.
• Maintain the confidentiality of client financial documents.
• Organize files and communication documentation according to company policy and Department of Insurance standards.
• Comply with C3’s Quality Management Program.
• Potentially act as Team Lead, which may include preparing performance reviews and overseeing the Performance Improvement Process.
• Execute other responsibilities and duties as required.
• Travel to client locations, occasionally necessitating overnight stays out of state.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Proficiency in seamless new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery.
• Experience in servicing accounts, which includes endorsements, audits, and invoicing.
• Familiarity with coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting practices, legislative changes, and the P&C marketplace.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong mathematical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
• Experience managing Construction accounts is preferred.
• A college degree is not mandatory; however, if obtained, it is preferred.
• Insurance designation is preferred.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, establish and achieve goals, and resolve problems logically.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Capacity to manage the financial aspects of accounts with accuracy.
• Knowledge of state and governmental regulations.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education and industry events.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client financial documents.
• Proficiency in using a keyboard and other office equipment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays out of state.
