This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for delivering customer service and overall management of designated clients and/or policies within Private Client Services.
• Assists the Producer in pursuing new business opportunities and identifying potential account rounding prospects.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to colleagues in support of the immediate supervisor.
• Cultivates and oversees the overall relationship with clients, ensuring business retention and high levels of satisfaction.
• Identifies and develops new business opportunities for current clients and prospects.
• Initiates the renewal process for existing clients, discussing and formulating renewal strategies.
• Analyzes and compares current risks and creates specifications for renewal or new business marketing.
• Conducts marketing efforts, negotiates rates, and assesses quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Independently evaluates policies to determine suitable coverage and identify any potential deficiencies.
• Reviews and summarizes marketing outcomes and prepares proposals.
• Finalizes proposals and presentations.
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegates certificate issuance.
• Reviews policies for precision and examines contracts.
• Prepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
• Reviews client accounting history, addresses accounting inquiries, rectifies discrepancies, and communicates with clients regarding receivable collections.
• Offers technical support to staff addressing client needs or procedural challenges.
• Engages in the claims process as directed by management.
• Informs the Producer of significant information related to client retention.
• Provides mentoring to staff in support of the immediate supervisor.
• Collects fees, and reconciles and resolves any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing.
• Adheres to agency management system data standards and maintains data integrity (enters and sustains complete and accurate information).
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• Valid insurance license required.
• Must consistently meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with a broad range of customizable coverages for private clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
