Client Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Generate new business opportunities within the designated territory

• Collaborate with leadership to identify and target strategic markets and clients for service offerings

• Build and sustain effective peer-to-peer relationships with customers and potential clients

• Assist in sales initiatives through client relationship management and support during sales calls

• Create and implement lead generation strategies

• Work with the team to uncover opportunities and execute growth strategies

• Manage contract negotiations in partnership with operations and legal departments

• Conduct market research and analysis

• Assess operational challenges and industry trends

• Oversee and manage the proposal process from inception to successful submission

• Track external and internal factors to facilitate the development of new market segments

• Support marketing initiatives for new products and services

• Aid in the creation of a client feedback evaluation process

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in business development, sales, or marketing with knowledge of the power/energy sector

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical power systems and related equipment

• Proficient in utilizing market channels such as EPC, ESCOs, utility companies, developers, engineering firms, end-users, and equipment manufacturers

• Skilled in identifying customer needs and business drivers to formulate account plans and strategies

• Strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and a proactive sense of urgency

• Capable of managing time and prioritizing tasks without direct oversight

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities

• Experience in competitive and market analysis

• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships

• Competence in strategic planning and tactical execution
