Senior Client Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead revenue forecasting for mid-tier client portfolios, manage revenue pipelines, and provide guidance on revenue recognition.

• Conduct variance analysis and Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, offering clear insights on burn management and risks related to over-burn.

• Collaborate with account teams to create Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring high accuracy in 'math/rate checks', optimizing invoicing schedules, and correctly applying rate cards.

• Carry out regular margin analysis reviews to maintain project profitability and proactively identify risks associated with significant shifts.

• Oversee the entire billing cycle along with related commentaries (Accounts Receivable, Work in Progress, Earned but Unbilled).

• Manage Out-of-Pocket (OOP) expenditures, reconcile production budgets, and communicate available balances to clients. Handle weekly payables for cash flow projections in collaboration with Business Affairs.

• Ensure compliance with all audit documentation and standards through a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.

• Utilize AI and advanced spreadsheet skills to automate reporting, resolve errors, and enhance our reporting capabilities.

• Prepare and deliver financial data to stakeholders, translating complex spreadsheets into actionable insights for non-financial leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting within a professional services or technology environment.

• Proficiency in Revenue Forecasting and Recognition, Margin Analysis, Rate Card Analysis, and Variance Analysis.

• Expertise in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

• Familiarity with PSA/PM tools (such as Productive, Mavenlink, or similar) and CRM systems (like HubSpot).

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

• Professional proficiency in English.
