This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the retention of retirement plan assets and ensuring client satisfaction for designated clients with 401(k), DB, or MEP plans.

• Manages relationship duties through necessary client visits and proactive phone engagements.

• Represents the organization in retention scenarios and new sales efforts, including formal presentations aimed at maintaining, retaining, and acquiring retirement program assets to boost profitability and assist participants in achieving retirement readiness.

• Conducts the requisite number of annual plan reviews, investment evaluations, and service meetings with clients and brokers.

• Integrates consultative approaches into client relationships to strengthen loyalty among clients, advisors, and TPAs.

• Acts as the primary escalation point for resolving non-standard service issues, which includes investigating and identifying root causes, formulating strategies for resolution, and managing resources to achieve solutions.

• Consults with clients and brokers regarding qualified plan design matters.

• Interprets and clarifies plan provisions to meet client objectives.

• Processes requests for plan amendments through the appropriate channels.

• Complies with process and documentation standards to minimize operational risks and losses.

• Interprets discrimination testing rules and outcomes.

• Provides consultation on solutions for failed testing.

• Identifies cross-selling opportunities to boost individual client and overall enterprise profitability.

• Advises clients and advisors on plan enhancements or upgrades, including transitioning older investment contracts to updated products.

• Submits requests for conversion approvals.

• Evaluates the client's existing service agreement and investment contract in relation to the proposed conversion.

• Processes client conversion applications.

• Keeps clients and advisors informed about product and service improvements, including changes in investment options.

• Trains clients on company processes, procedures, and resources, including all systems/technology for participants and plan sponsors.

• Advises clients on issues related to plan terminations.

• Processes requests for plan terminations.

• Provides consultation on participant communication strategies and options with clients and advisors.

• Schedules workshops and facilitates the distribution of enrollment materials.

• Reports outcomes of strategies and programs back to clients and advisors.

• Consults with clients and advisors regarding plan options before or after corporate actions, such as mergers or acquisitions.

• Assists the Sales team with final presentations, serving as the subject matter expert on topics such as the company's service model, installation processes, ongoing administration, plan design, and communication programs and procedures.

• Engages in and contributes to department and organization-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality, improving internal training, and boosting client satisfaction and retention.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent education/experience.

• Five years of experience in the retirement industry or a similar field.

• Possession of FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, as well as Life insurance licenses, or the ability to obtain them within six months.

• Comprehensive understanding of ERISA regulations and current trends in the retirement industry.

• Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and subject matter expertise in plan management, including, but not limited to, technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions.

• Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
