This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Selling Aptos Unified Commerce solutions to both potential and existing clients
• Emphasizing new logo acquisition and proactive territory expansion
• Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Professional Services, and Customer Operations to position Aptos with new prospective clients
• Building relationships and working together with Aptos’ partners to identify new leads and create a qualified pipeline
• Engaging with assigned prospects to identify business needs through value-based selling
• Gaining a thorough understanding of prospective clients’ business requirements and challenges
• Crafting detailed account plans for strategic new logo targets
• Leading strategic sales calls and presentations; assessing account objectives and designing customized demonstrations
• Coordinating internal resources while ensuring alignment among stakeholders across Professional Services and Client Care on opportunity advancement
• Preparing and presenting compelling presentations to senior executives
• Managing opportunity progression in Salesforce.com and accurately forecasting timelines for closing new business
• Bachelor’s degree
• Over 7 years of experience successfully selling enterprise retail software solutions, preferably modern cloud POS/unified commerce platforms
• Proven history of new logo acquisition, reflected in consistent quota achievement and success in outbound-driven enterprise sales cycles
• In-depth understanding of retail, especially physical retail within the Apparel & Footwear sector
• Strong executive presence and skill in nurturing relationships at all organizational levels
• Established connections with senior executives in retail within Aptos's target markets
• A meticulous, curious, and analytical approach
• Significant outside sales experience engaging with Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail leaders, focusing on prospecting and territory development
• Proficiency in using Salesforce.com for prospecting, qualifying leads, managing pipeline, and maintaining account intelligence
• Familiarity with using social media (e.g., LinkedIn) as a tool for prospecting and outreach
• Demonstrated ability to present and sell effectively in a virtual setting
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication abilities
• Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques and enterprise sales methodologies
• Willingness to travel as business needs arise.
