This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead project work teams along with associated resources to plan, develop, test, and execute projects.
• Oversee and manage the implementation lifecycles for various projects and initiatives.
• Communicate effectively and consistently with project teams, management, external clients, and vendors.
• Direct project teams and facilitate work breakdown processes to outline tasks, durations, efforts, dependencies, and implementation timelines.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to comprehend interdependencies and lead times, identify project resources, and create comprehensive schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional project members, assign responsibilities, and conduct team meetings.
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date, and appropriately stored project documentation.
• Prepare and disseminate project reports and communications to technology teams, sponsors, stakeholders, managers, and consultants.
• Manage project integration elements, including plan development, execution, and change control.
• Create detailed technical project plans for both internal and client-facing projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison with key sponsors and client executive staff, managing expectations concerning timing, functionality, and business goals.
• Resolve project conflicts and provide final approval on behalf of stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot project issues and escalate them to upper management as needed.
• Facilitate lessons-learned sessions and engage in root-cause analysis.
• Ensure timely communication through strategic communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, customer resources, contractors, and third-party providers.
• Facilitate project kickoff and specification meetings.
• Consult with senior client management, including CEOs, to guarantee that business requirements are fulfilled.
• Travel to client locations to discuss specifications, business objectives, and project alternatives.
• Conduct meetings with client personnel, including IT, regarding network connectivity and file mapping.
• Mentor Operational Services staff on project management methodologies and best practices.
• Coordinate products and projects with credit unions, MasterCard, VISA, processors, software vendors, and ATM networks.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of payment processing, card processing systems and subsystems, system parameters, and regional ATM networks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of project management experience is required.
• At least 5 years in a client-facing role is required.
• A minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry with experience in card processing and payment solutions is preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale conversion projects and in card processing is preferred.
• Proven experience in client-facing project leadership and card processing is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the payment processing card industry, card processing systems and subsystems, and related in-house applications.
• Fundamental understanding of system parameters and regional ATM networks.
• Willingness to travel to client locations is necessary.
