This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and provide assistance to CAS staff
• Prepare, evaluate, and analyze GAAP and tax-basis financial statements
• Directly communicate financial outcomes to business owners
• Resolve issues related to bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
• Oversee fixed asset registers, accrual schedules, prepaid assets, debt schedules, and other balance sheet accounts
• Prepare month-end and year-end schedules for external auditors
• Lead special cleanup initiatives and implement more efficient reporting processes
• Analyze results, recognize trends, and offer recommendations to support client growth
• Manage client billings and prepare footnotes for financial statements
• Oversee monthly and annual filings, including 1099s, property tax, and sales tax
• Assist with client onboarding by creating dashboards, KPIs, and financial reports
• Offer advisory guidance and strategic support to clients
• Direct accounts payable and accounts receivable functions across various clients
• Review reconciliations, troubleshoot system challenges, and generate reports related to the general ledger
• 4–8 years of relevant experience
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Practical experience with Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Bill.com, and Expensify
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highly accurate work
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Capacity to explain financial concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
• Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions or escalate issues as needed
• Collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership
