Senior Claims Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations related to professional and general liability claims management.

• Conduct investigations, assessments, and management of claims against the organization.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of claims files and summaries using data management software.

• Liaise with patients, claimants, and facility leadership effectively.

• Identify and monitor opportunities for disclosure and early resolution.

• Guarantee adherence to claims reporting protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience within the insurance sector; claims management; or legal handling of claims matters.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in processing or managing relevant general and professional liability claims.

• Proficient in STARS or comparable claims management software.

• Certification as a Professional Healthcare Risk Manager (CPHRM) required upon hire.
