Senior Claims and Litigation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy and investigation for intricate professional liability and medical malpractice claims from the initial report until final resolution.

• Guide external defense counsel on case action plans and ensure that litigation adheres to organizational standards and protocols.

• Set loss reserves and prepare National Claims Committee reports for noteworthy high-exposure cases.

• Negotiate directly with plaintiff attorneys and represent the organization during mediations, trials, and depositions.

• Work in partnership with Risk Management to convert claim outcomes into actionable insights that enhance patient safety and mitigate future liability.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable job-specific experience is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience is preferred.
