This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Ultimately accountable for projects categorized by region, project type, client type, or specific clients.
• Tasked with empowering direct reports, typically Team Leads and Discipline Leads, while promoting professional growth.
• Oversees critical and emerging sectors within HFA.
• Responsible for establishing consistently high production standards and supervising projects to ensure that quality and production benchmarks are met for all design and contract documentation.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of the entire project process and possess the managerial skill to lead and direct the activities of all project team members while monitoring technical production across all projects to guarantee compliance with quality standards and high productivity.
• Collaborates with other Senior Team Leads and Executives to ensure cohesive operations within the company, adhering to the HFA Culture Code, Purpose, and Shared Values.
• Should have a solid financial and business acumen, with the ability to accurately report the financial status of your business area.
• Offers guidance and input to the Team Lead to determine team structure and talent requirements.
• Engages in Marketing and Business Development in coordination with Executives, the Brand & Marketing team, and the Client Partnerships team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license preferred (or the ability to obtain one).
• Over 10 years of experience in civil engineering and land development.
• Strong background in site design and project management.
• Experience in leading teams and mentoring technical staff.
• Robust understanding of zoning, permitting, municipal processes, and land development workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and personnel.
