This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Collaborate within the Sitework discipline as a vital team member aiding in design development primarily for industrial clients across the nation and in North and Central America.
β’ Prepare and review intricate design calculations.
β’ Prepare and review construction documents for the rehabilitation of industrial infrastructure, including roads, rail, utilities, and highways.
β’ Opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members.
β’ Work alongside project managers to define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for associated tasks.
β’ Ensure design tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
β’ Review contractor submissions and monitor on-site construction to evaluate compliance with plans and specifications.
β’ A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of general civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development.
β’ Experience in railway and/or roadway engineering is advantageous.
β’ A Professional Engineer license in the state of the assigned office or the capability to reciprocate from another state within six months.
β’ Additional licensure as a Professional Engineer in Texas and/or Louisiana or in a Canadian province would be considered beneficial.
β’ Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D software, including surface modeling, corridors, and pipe networks.
