Senior Civil Site Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within the Sitework discipline as a vital team member aiding in design development primarily for industrial clients across the nation and in North and Central America.

• Prepare and review intricate design calculations.

• Prepare and review construction documents for the rehabilitation of industrial infrastructure, including roads, rail, utilities, and highways.

• Opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members.

• Work alongside project managers to define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for associated tasks.

• Ensure design tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Review contractor submissions and monitor on-site construction to evaluate compliance with plans and specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of general civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development.

• Experience in railway and/or roadway engineering is advantageous.

• A Professional Engineer license in the state of the assigned office or the capability to reciprocate from another state within six months.

• Additional licensure as a Professional Engineer in Texas and/or Louisiana or in a Canadian province would be considered beneficial.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D software, including surface modeling, corridors, and pipe networks.
