Electric Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Execute electrical takeoffs from digital designs, blueprints, and project documentation.

• Generate precise cost estimates and competitive bid proposals.

• Complete and oversee RFQs, including necessary revisions and updates.

• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to acquire pricing and project details.

• Assist in pre-construction planning and estimating tasks.

• Operate within the company's workflows and estimating procedures as a remote team member.

• Efficiently manage estimating functions to support a growing construction firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical estimating.

• 3–10+ years of practical electrical estimating experience for U.S. construction projects.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Strong grasp of electrical estimating workflows and industry best practices.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.

• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in takeoffs and pricing.

• Experience with digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or comparable platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage estimating functions for expanding construction companies.

• Strong communication skills for coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.

• Background in estimating light commercial and small industrial electrical projects.

• Availability to work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time.

• Ability to work full-time remotely and integrate into the company's systems.
