Estimator – Kitchens, Joinery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze joinery plans and drawings, which include cabinet specifications, dimensions, finishes, and color selections.

• Determine lineal meters and quantities based on the provided drawings.

• Estimate costs for colors and finishes utilizing the provided price lists.

• Calculate pricing for hardware and components.

• Evaluate installation costs for each project.

• Create comprehensive material and finish schedules for each assignment.

• Generate detailed, itemized quotes from start to finish using company templates.

• Identify any gaps or discrepancies in drawings early to ensure pricing accuracy.

• Maintain organized records of quotes and pricing information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the Philippines.

• 2–3+ years of demonstrated estimating experience in kitchens, cabinetry, or joinery manufacturing.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting joinery drawings and shop plans, including measurements and details.

• Strong numerical skills and a systematic approach to takeoffs and quantity calculations.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently, managing processes and delivering results without close supervision.

• Must have a reliable internet connection and a personal computer setup.

• Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetry design and estimating software is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous involvement in supporting Australian joinery, cabinetry, or construction businesses is advantageous but not essential.

• Required to disclose any current ongoing roles or client commitments.

• Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor.”
