Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and receive incoming tender invitations through EstimateOne.

• Collaborate with builders via email to gather plans, drawings, and scope documents.

• Conduct quantity takeoffs for plastering and carpentry tasks utilizing PlanSwift and/or Bluebeam.

• Create and maintain a tender tracking spreadsheet or program that outlines active jobs and submission deadlines.

• Compile estimates and present them to the team for review and approval prior to submission.

• Assist in formatting and submitting tender applications, progressing towards independent submission as the role develops.

• Help with sourcing and pricing materials as the role evolves.

• Engage proactively with the internal team via email and/or designated platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with exposure to Australian commercial projects.

• Proven experience using PlanSwift and/or Bluebeam for quantity takeoffs.

• Familiarity with EstimateOne or comparable tendering platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight tender deadlines.

• Excellent written English communication skills for professional correspondence with Australian builders and subcontractors.

• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tenders concurrently.

• Experience working remotely and asynchronously.

• Experience with Australian clients or knowledge of Australian construction standards is preferred.

• Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.

• Required to represent this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor.”
