This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop civil engineering plans for various projects including commercial, industrial, utility, and infrastructure development.

• Execute site layout, grading design, utility coordination, access and circulation planning, along with erosion control design.

• Create permit and construction documentation.

• Collaborate with clients, permitting bodies, stormwater designers, and utility providers to coordinate plans.

• Generate engineering solutions from initial concepts through to detailed design, construction, and ongoing support.

• Act as a senior technical resource and advisor.

• Supply specialized technical insights for studies and designs.

• Establish procedures for study and design processes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary reviews of project outputs.

• Prepare construction cost estimates and assessments of technical efforts.

• Finalize discipline components of PS&E packages.

• Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.

• Draft technical specification sections.

• Occasionally travel to sites or the office, approximately 5% of the time.

• Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules.

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

• Work in collaboration with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

• Perform site visits and field investigations.

• Innovate solutions to complex engineering challenges.

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Represent the company at client meetings and professional conferences.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 6 years of experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Possession of a U.S. Professional Engineering License (PE).

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.

• Experience in site civil and/or transportation design.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to the office or work sites.

• Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future.
