This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Formulate and implement thorough category strategies that enhance cost efficiency, quality, service levels, and supplier performance.

• Oversee intricate RFx processes, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract finalization across designated categories.

• Evaluate spending, financial, and operational data to uncover sourcing opportunities, risks, and enhancements in total cost of ownership.

• Establish and nurture robust supplier partnerships, incorporating performance management through SLAs and KPIs.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and adoption of sourcing practices throughout the organization.

• Deliver data-driven business cases and sourcing strategies to key stakeholders and leadership.

• Initiate continuous improvement projects within strategic sourcing to boost efficiency and value.

• Advocate for supplier diversity initiatives and endorse ethical, compliant procurement practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or relevant consulting roles.

• In-depth understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, systems, and industry best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in leading RFx events, contract negotiations, and managing supplier performance.

• Advanced analytical capabilities with the proficiency to convert data into actionable insights.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP or MRP systems is advantageous.

• A Master’s degree, CPP, or CSCP certification is preferred.

• Experience in managing direct or indirect spend within a medical or research organization is preferred.
